Lock sections in templates

With Oneflow you have the option of locking sections in templates. This will prevent other users from editing the sections content. This is useful for all sections but especially if you have sections in forms or product tables that you don't want colleagues to edit.

IMPORTANT 
Only users who have the workspace permission Templates - Administrate message and document templates, can lock sections in templates.
If you use a template with locked sections and want to be able to change the content of a locked section in the document, you need to have the workspace permission Lock and unlock document sections for editing.
With this permission, you also have the option of unlocking locked sections, so that users who do not have the permission can edit the section.

How to lock a section

1. Go to Templates > Open a template. 
2. Click on the Settings icon next to the section you want to edit > Lock section.

Tje locked sections will then be marked with a closed padlock.

NOTE
When you lock a section, the entire section is locked. Moving the mouse pointer over the section will also display a message that the section is locked.

How to unlock a section

1. Go to Templates > Open a template.
2. Click on the Settings icon next to the section you want to edit > Unlock section.

INFORMATION
The only part that can be locked individually are product rows in product tables. 
If you want to lock certain parts of fields and text sections, we recommend that you split up your locked and unlocked parts into different sections.
