This article explains how to create documents through the Google Workspace – Oneflow integration.
REQUIREMENTS

Create a document template for Google Workspace
- Navigate to the desired workspace and open the Templates tab.
- Click Create template to open the template editor.
- Create and customize the template as needed.
- Add exactly one PDF document section to the template.
- Open the Data fields tab and select Google Template from the Playbook dropdown.
- Click Publish to activate the template.
Create a contract
- Open the relevant Google Doc or Google Slides presentation.
- Open the Oneflow add-on.
- Click the Create contract icon.
- Review the Contract name. The Google file name is used automatically, but you can edit it.
- Select the appropriate Workspace.
- Select the appropriate Template.
- Click Add Counterparty.
- Select whether the counterparty is a Company or an Individual.
- Enter the counterparty details and select the appropriate role.
- Click Add.
- To add another person to the same counterparty, click Add Participant.
- To add a separate counterparty, click Add Counterparty.
- Click Create Contract.
- Open the contract in Oneflow, review it, and send it to the participants.

Your contract has been created! Review the contract in Oneflow and send it when it is ready.
Check the contract status
- Open the Google document or presentation used to create the contract.
- Open the Oneflow add-on.
- Click Contract status.
- Review the list of contracts created from the file.
- Click View to open a contract in Oneflow.
- Click Delete to remove a contract.
- Click the Refresh icon to retrieve the latest statuses.
Troubleshooting
- If the document type is incompatible, convert the file to Google Docs or Google Slides before creating the contract.
- To convert a Microsoft Word file, open it in Google Docs and select File > Save as Google Docs.
- To convert a Microsoft PowerPoint file, open it in Google Slides and select File > Save as Google Slides.
- If the API token is reported as invalid or belonging to another account, confirm that your Google and Oneflow accounts use the same email address.
- If the connection settings are unavailable in Oneflow, confirm that you have Oneflow administrator permissions.
- If a workspace or template is unavailable, confirm that you have access to it in Oneflow.
- If a template is unavailable, confirm that it is published, assigned to the Google Template Playbook, and contains exactly one PDF document section.
