If data is not syncing correctly between Salesforce and Oneflow, or if contract statuses are not updating in Salesforce, follow the troubleshooting steps below in order. Test the sync after each step to confirm whether the issue has been resolved.

Re-authenticate the integration

Although uncommon, the authentication link between Salesforce and Oneflow may occasionally stop working. When this happens, the integration may no longer be able to send or retrieve data.

  1. In Oneflow, go to MarketplaceSalesforce.
  2. Click the trash bin icon to remove the existing Salesforce connection.
  3. Once the connection has been removed, click on Authenticate with Salesforce to establish a new connection.
  4. Test the sync again.

NOTE

If you use a Salesforce sandbox, make sure you select the sandbox authentication option and authenticate against the correct Salesforce environment.

Check the authenticating user’s Oneflow permissions

The integration uses the token of the Oneflow user who authenticated it. If that user does not have access to the relevant workspace, contracts, templates, or other required resources in Oneflow, the sync may fail.

Confirm that the authenticating user:

  • Is still an active user in Oneflow.
  • Has full access to the Oneflow resources required by the integration. This usually means the role Workspace Manager in all workspaces.

After updating the permissions, re-authenticate the integration and test the sync again.

Review custom Salesforce flows

Custom changes to the Salesforce flows included with the Oneflow package can cause sync issues when a flow is incomplete or misconfigured.

If you have customized a flow:

  1. Compare the customized flow with the original flow included in the Oneflow package.
  2. Identify every element, variable, condition, mapping, and connection that has changed.
  3. Temporarily remove or revert one change at a time.
  4. Test the sync after each change to isolate the configuration causing the issue.

NOTE

Keep a record of your customizations before reverting any changes. This makes it easier to restore the working configuration and identify the source of the problem.

Contact Oneflow Support

If re-authenticating the integration, checking the authenticating user’s permissions, and reviewing custom flows do not resolve the issue, contact Oneflow Support.

Include the affected Oneflow document ID so that we can investigate the sync issue. The document ID can be found inside the Oneflow document at the bottom right corner.
