WARNING Uninstalling permanently removes Oneflow components and related data. Always back up your data before proceeding. |
-
Backup Your Data (Recommended)
Export any business data you may need later using Data Loader, Data Export Wizard, or any other preferred tool.
NOTE
If you plan to reinstall Oneflow later and re-import your contracts, export the mapping between Oneflow contracts and their parent Salesforce records (for example, Opportunity or custom objects). This mapping ensures you can correctly relate contracts after reinstalling.
See the following guide for detailed steps to import signed contracts back into Salesforce: Import signed contracts from Oneflow to Salesforce
-
Deactivate All Active Oneflow Flows
- Deactivate all active Oneflow flows.
- It's recommended to delete any custom flows that use Oneflow Apex actions.
- If you have overridden any default Oneflow flows, make sure to deactivate them as well.
NAVIGATION
Setup > Flows > Select the relevant flow > Click "Deactivate"
-
Remove All Oneflow Package References
- Delete any references to Oneflow components in your organization.
- This includes Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Apex classes, fields, objects, and other Oneflow-related components.
- If no delete/edit option is shown, open the component > go to Activation > remove any assigned Org Default or App Default assignments.
- For example, if you added the Oneflow widget to a custom object page layout, ensure it is removed before uninstalling the package.
-
Remove Permission Set Assignments
Remove all Oneflow-related Permission Set and Permission Set Group assignments from users.
NAVIGATION
Setup > Users > Select the relevant user > Remove related Permission Set Assignments and Permission Set Group Assignments
-
Uninstall the Oneflow Package
- Go to Setup > Installed Packages.
- Locate Oneflow Application.
- Click "Uninstall".
- On the next screen, choose whether you want to save a copy of the package data for 48 hours after uninstalling. Select your preference and click "Uninstall".
-
Handle Any Errors
If any errors occur during the uninstall process, resolve them and try uninstalling again.
NOTE
Errors during uninstall are usually related to remaining references or unresolved dependencies. Review steps 2–4 to ensure all Oneflow components and permission sets have been fully removed before retrying.
