This article explains how to map Teamtailor custom fields to Oneflow data fields. Linking these fields allows you to use information from Teamtailor candidate records in your Oneflow contracts.
REQUIREMENTS
|
INFORMATION ✅ This integration DOES support custom data fields. Saving a custom field in Teamtailor does not automatically make it available in Oneflow. After setting up a new field, create a Oneflow contract through Teamtailor to trigger synchronization. You only need to do this once for each newly created custom field. |
In Teamtailor
Set Up Custom Fields
- Log in to Teamtailor as an administrator and go to Settings → Custom fields.
- On the Candidates tab, click + New custom field, or select an existing custom field.
- In the API name field, add the oneflow- prefix.
- Click Save.
- Create a new Oneflow contract through Teamtailor to synchronize the field with Oneflow.
Once synchronized, the custom field is available to use in your Oneflow templates and contracts.
INFORMATION Create custom fields on the Candidates tab. You cannot create them from the Jobs tab. |
In Oneflow
Map a Custom Data Field to a Form Field
After synchronizing your custom field from Teamtailor, link it to a form field in Oneflow:
- Open a Oneflow contract and edit an existing form field or add a new one.
- Click the Edit icon.
- In the Edit field menu, open the Data field dropdown.
- Select your synchronized Teamtailor custom field from the list.
The selected form field is prepopulated with the custom field's value.
Remove Custom Fields
To stop linking a custom field to Oneflow, remove the oneflow- prefix from its API name in Teamtailor's custom field settings. The next time you open the integration configuration, Teamtailor requests the removal of the corresponding Oneflow data field.
If you delete a custom field in Teamtailor, it is also removed from Oneflow. Deleted data fields remain visible until the next contract is created.
Troubleshooting
- The custom field is not available in Oneflow: Check that its API name starts with oneflow- and that you have created a new Oneflow contract through Teamtailor after saving the field.
- You cannot create a custom field: Check that you are logged in as a Teamtailor administrator and are using the Candidates tab, not the Jobs tab.
- Pending custom fields need mapping: Check the admin email setting in the Teamtailor configuration. If it is empty, Teamtailor uses the recruiter for whom the configuration was opened.
- A deleted field is still visible in Oneflow: Deleted data fields remain visible until the next contract is created.
