Getting started with the Oneflow Google add-on

Introduction

This add-on will help you convert your Google documents into a Oneflow contract without leaving the Google platform.

INFO

  • The current version of the Oneflow add-on for Google Workspace works with Google Docs and Google Slides.
  • To use the Oneflow add-on for Google, you need an active Oneflow account. If you do not have an account yet, please sign up here.
  • You must use the same email address for your Google and Oneflow accounts.
  • You do not need to be a Google Workspace administrator to enable this integration.

Install the Oneflow Google add-on

To install the Oneflow add-on in your Google Workspace:

  1. Visit the Google Workspace Marketplace, search for the Oneflow add-on and click Install.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Choose the Google account where you want to use this add-on.

Make sure your Oneflow account uses the same email address.

  1. Allow Oneflow to access required Google resources.

  2. You will receive a success message confirming authorization.
  3. The Oneflow add-on requires additional authorization. Click BEGIN AUTHORIZATION.

  4. You will receive another success message confirming you are authorized to use the Oneflow add-on.

  1. When you close the pop-up, you will be redirected to the Oneflow add-on home page.

Connect your Oneflow account to your Google account

Once the add-on is installed, you need to connect it to your Oneflow account:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the Oneflow add-on > Connect with your Oneflow account.

  1. You will be redirected to a 3-step process depending on your user rights.

Admin users

If you are a Oneflow admin, you need an API token to connect:

  1. Log in to Oneflow as an administrator, go to Marketplace > Google Workspace integration > Enable.

  1. Copy the generated API token and save it.

  1. Paste the API token into the Oneflow Google add-on and click Authenticate.

  1. You will be taken to the second step, where you can grant users permission to use the add-on.
  2. Select users individually or click SELECT ALL. Then click Next.

  3. A success message will appear, confirming access has been granted.

NOTE

If you want to provide access to more users later, revisit this screen and click ADD MORE USERS.

Non-admin users

NOTE

If you are not an admin, you need to request your company’s Oneflow administrator to install the add-on and grant you access.

If you have been granted access, you will see a green checkmark and your company name below the Connect to your Oneflow account link.

Create a contract

NOTE

To create a contract, ensure:

  • Your Google account is connected to Oneflow.
  • You have a template in Oneflow with exactly one PDF section and the template group set to Google Template.
  1. Open a Google Doc or Slide, open the Oneflow add-on and click the Create contract icon.
  2. The Contract name defaults to the document name, but you can edit it.
  3. Choose a Workspace and Template.

NOTE

Only templates with exactly one PDF section and the Google Workspace Template group will display in the dropdown.

  1. Click Add Counterparty and fill in details (Company or Individual, role, etc.).
  2. Click Add.

  3. To add more participants, click Add Participant. To add another counterparty, click Add Counterparty.
  4. Click Create Contract to create the contract.
  5. You will see a success page. Review the contract in your Oneflow account and send it.

NOTE

You can create up to 10 contracts from the same document.

Check the contract status

You can check contract statuses without leaving Google:

  1. Open the document, go to the add-on, and click Contract status. A list of all contracts from this file will display.

  • Click VIEW to open the contract in Oneflow.
  • Click DELETE to remove it.
  • Click the Refresh icon to update statuses.

Re-authenticating

If you need to rotate or change your API key, an admin can re-authenticate:

  1. Open the add-on, click Settings > Connect to your Oneflow account.

  1. You will be redirected back to the first step where you can enter the new API token.
