Dynamic sync allows you to update Oneflow contracts whenever the underlying document is changed in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Changes you make in your documents will also be reflected in Oneflow contracts created from them.

Dynamic sync
To update a Oneflow contract created from the add-in, perform the steps below.
- Open a Microsoft Word or PowerPoint document from which a Oneflow contract has been created, then make changes to the document.
-
Save the document by pressing Ctrl+S, then open the Oneflow add-in from the ribbon. If the add-in is already open, click the Reload button. A notification will appear stating that changes were detected in the document with an option to update the contract with the latest document.
INFORMATION
Recommended:
- For a better experience, make sure to manually save your document by pressing Ctrl+S before opening the Oneflow add-in.
- This ensures the changes are detected by the Oneflow add-in. Otherwise, the update notification will appear in the add-in whenever OneDrive autosave checkpoints are reached in Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
Notification about document changes
- Click the Update button on the contract card.
- Click the Update button again in the popup card to confirm. The popup card that appears will vary depending on the state of your contract (i.e., draft, pending with no participants having signed, or pending with some participants having signed).
