As a Membrain and Oneflow user, you can create Oneflow contracts and track their status directly in Membrain.
The workflow for this integration consists of three main steps. To create a contract, at least one of the signatories must have access to the relevant Oneflow Workspace.
Create a contract in Membrain
In this guide, we create a contract from a step in a Sales Project. However, you can also create contracts in Prospects and Account Growth projects if the tool setup in your organization's Membrain Account allows it.
- Go to the Sales project from which you want to create a Oneflow contract (or create a new one) and click Sign contract.
To create a new contract, click Create.
Alternatively, click Choose Existing to link a contract already created in Oneflow to this step in Membrain.
- Select the template you want to use (the list of available templates is configured by the Membrain admin).
- Verify the information you are sending to Oneflow when creating the contract (these are the data fields you mapped earlier).
- Select contract roles for all participants. The available contacts in this dialog are the sales project's Owner and any internal or external Stakeholders.
NOTE The contract roles Signatory 1 and Signatory 2 are mandatory to create a contract. Typically, one signatory is from your company, and the other is a stakeholder from the counterparty. |
- When all contract roles are assigned, click Create Agreement in Oneflow.
NOTE To complete the contract creation, at least one signatory must have access to the Oneflow workspace. Ideally, this should be the sales project owner or an internal stakeholder who manages your Oneflow contracts. |
Send the contract
After creating a contract through Membrain, a new window will automatically open in Oneflow. You will be redirected to the contract if you are already signed in to Oneflow.
- On the contract page in Oneflow, you can make changes and add or remove information. When everything is set, click Send.
Check the contract status
To view the last known contract status, hover over or click the step where you created the contract. The status is provided by Oneflow and is updated as it becomes available.
