You can configure the Oneflow widget to be displayed in your Dynamics objects (i.e. Opportunities) so that your team can create contracts from them.

NOTE

Any entity, including custom ones, now supports contract creation.

Perform the steps below to place the Oneflow widget on a new entity or change its place on the form:

  1. In Dynamics 365, click your profile icon, then select Advanced Settings.

  2. From the side panel, select Customizations and select Customize the System.

For the legacy Dynamics 365 UI, navigate to the Advanced settings page, select Settings, then select Customize the System under Customizations.

  3. Choose the entity and the form where you want to place the widget under Components > Entities > <your custom entity> > Forms > <your form>.

NOTE

In this example, we use the Opportunity entity, however, the process of placing the widget is the same for all entities, including custom entities.

  1. From the top navigation ribbon, click the Insert tab.
  2. Create a New Section or Tab if required, to place the Oneflow widget. Double-click on the section, and set the Label to "Oneflow".

  3. Click on the New Field button to create a new field in Dynamics.
  1. In the Display Name field, type “Oneflow widget”. The Name field will be automatically populated.

  2. Click on Save and Close.
  3. Reload the page by pressing Ctrl + R. The new field you added will now appear in the Field Explorer.
  4. Drag and drop the Oneflow widget field to the section to place the widget (i.e. the section you created in Step 5).

  5. Double-click the Oneflow widget field you added to the form.
  6. In the Field Properties dialog, type in the Label name (i.e. “Oneflow widget”), and clear the Display label on the form checkbox.

  7. Go to the Controls tab, then select Add Control.
  1. Select “Oneflow widget” from the custom controls list and click Add.
  1. Select all Controls (i.e. Web, Phone, and Tablet) for the Oneflow widget control and click OK.
  1. Click Save and then Publish.
  1. Open an Opportunity (or another Dynamics entity to which you added the Oneflow widget), and press Ctrl + F5 to reload the page. The Oneflow widget should now appear on the form. Great work! You can now start creating some contracts!

NOTE

If the Oneflow widget does not appear on the form (i.e. in an Opportunity form), you may need to clear your browser’s cache and try again.
