In Oneflow, you can tag your documents and templates to make them easier to find.

Add a tag - Document view

  1. Go to Documents > Open a document.
  2. Click on action menu > Add tag.
  3. A tag module will appear showing current tags, where you can search or choose additional tags.

If you are an administrator, you can click Manage tags to get to the tag settings.

Add a tag - Document list

Here is how to add a tag through a document list:

  • Go to Documents > Click Document details panel > Click + Add next to Tags.

Manage tags 

  1. Go to Admin > Tags.
  2. To add a tag, click on + Create tag.
  3. Type in name > Use the color picker to customize your tags with color > Confirm.
  4. To edit or remove a tag, find the tag and click on the action menu.

Tag permissions

A user’s ability to manage tags depends on their account role and the permissions assigned to it. An account administrator with full permissions can always manage tags by default.

It’s also possible to restrict access, so that certain users can’t add, edit, and delete tags.

Tips and tricks

  • Tags help the contents of a documents be searchable. Add "important" or a specific service as a tag, and you'll be able to search it.
  • Colored tags make it easier to organize and quickly identify documents in your workspace!
  • You can add tags to documents and templates.
  • If you tag your templates, the tag will automatically be added to the document.
  • Tags are sorted alphabetically, but you can use Ctrl+F for a quicker search.
