Electronic signatures are a convenient, cost-effective, and secure method for obtaining signatures on electronic documents. E-signatures hold legal validity in most countries worldwide, carrying equal legal weight and effect as traditional ink or handwritten signatures.

Oneflow provides three types of electronic signatures: Simple Electronic Signatures (SES), Advanced Electronic Signatures (AdES) and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES)

Signing methods we offer

  • Standard e-signature
  • SMS-verification.
  • Electronic IDs. ( BankID etc.)
  • Handwritten signature.
  • Manual signing.

Electronic Identification (AdES + QES)

This method allows you and your counterpart to sign your documents using electronic ID.

Standard e-signature (SES)

The default signature setting in Oneflow is the standard e-signature. This is the most commonly utilized form of electronic signatures, allowing you to sign with a simple click of a button through a secure, encrypted link.

SMS-verification (SES)

The recipient will receive an SMS containing a 6-digit code, which they will use to verify their identity during the document signing process. To utilize this signing method, you need to input the recipient's phone number and have the SMS feature activated in your Oneflow account.

Handwritten signature (SES)

Handwritten signature is also known as wet ink signature, and can be convenient when you want your signatory to sign “on the same device”. This method enables you to draw or write your signature, and has the same legal effect as a standard electronic signature (SES).
The signature is made by using the mouse pointer option or by typing the name and then choosing which font the signature should have.

Manual signing (Mark as signed)

Oneflow does offer manual signing, and you may still use the benefits of the Oneflow archive and life cycles.

INFORMATION
A manual signature is only a visual mark. It isn’t translated into an electronic signature in Oneflow and therefore isn’t legally binding as an e-signature.
  1. Open a document.
  2. Click on the action menu > Mark as signed.
  3. Select the date it was signed > Confirm
