I encounter an issue when configuring Oneflow notifications in Slack
This error may occur if you attempt to enter /channel_notificationsin the Oneflow app’s chat box instead of in a channel.
- Type the /channel_notifications slash command in the chat of a Slack channel and press Enter.
This error occurs when non-admin users attempt to configure Oneflow notifications and an active Oneflow administrator is not a member of the Slack workspace.
Ensure that your organization’s Oneflow administrator is added as a member to the Slack workspace you wish to receive notifications in. (i.e. For instance, if the Oneflow administrator’s email ID is [email protected], then a Slack user with the same email should be present in your Slack workspace)
To add your administrator to your Slack workspace:
- Click on the channel name, then select Invite people to [workspace name].
- Enter the email address of your organization’s Oneflow administrator and click Send.
Note: Your Oneflow administrator needs to install and authorize the Oneflow app in their own Slack account.
